These elegant antique cufflinks are a refined example of American Art Deco craftsmanship. Each oval face features a finely engraved golden center with a tight, concentric pattern, framed by a contrasting white gold border decorated with crisp, geometric engraving. The interplay of yellow and white gold gives the design depth, brightness, and a distinctly Deco rhythm.
The cufflinks are crafted in 10K yellow and white gold and display the precise hand-engraving for which Ziething & Company was known. The design is bold yet balanced, offering visual interest without excess, making them equally suited for formal wear or a carefully styled modern look.
The reverse sides are finished in smooth, polished yellow gold and fitted with classic bow-shaped cross bars and sturdy tube brackets. One side of the cufflinks bears a “Z” maker’s mark within a circular cartouche, while the opposite side is stamped “10K”, confirming gold purity. These construction details are consistent with quality American cufflinks produced in the 1920s.
Each cufflink is additionally engraved with the initials “EM,” a period personalization that adds character and a sense of history while remaining subtle in scale.
Well-made, collectible, and timeless, these cufflinks were designed to be worn and appreciated across generations.
